A Light in the Community

While the City of Brookshire celebrated its annual Fourth of July Festival, it also took time to recognize Jacob Joseph, our lead resident advisor, for his work in the community.

It’s a fitting honor. Jacob knows the Manna House journey from the inside. He graduated as a resident before stepping into a staff role, and he has poured that experience back into the men around him on the Manna House grounds and beyond. The city took notice of what the men here already knew.

Jacob would be the first to say the goal was never recognition — it’s to make Christ known. But when a community points to one of our own, it says something about the kind of restoration happening at Manna House and the kind of men it produces.
